As mentors, we will focus on you as a person, on your career, and we will provide support for your individual growth and maturity.

In a one-on-one, two-way mutually beneficial relationship, mentoring guides you to discover yourself, your talents and strong points, to develop your own solutions.  Like friends, we will listen as a confidant. Then we advise you based upon what we think we would do in a similar situation.

But as coaches, we will establish a timetable for the development of specific skills or the completion of tasks, along with laying out specific performance expectations.  With your input, we will develop specific objectives for your personal, professional and/or business development, and lay out the best ways to accomplish the goals.  With one-month, six-month, one-year, five-year, and ultimate life goals established, we will then work with you to lay out each step to reach those goals.

As you see, coaching is more formal and goal-oriented than mentoring. Although the roles of mentoring and coaching are different, results can be the same.  Success depends upon the individual.  You will always have the choice to continue, how long, how often to receive advice, and the focus of our mentoring/coaching program.
